Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuit Waffles and Chicken


  • Mason Dixie Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuits
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • Oil for frying
  • Honey

For the brine:

  • ½ gallon water
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup salt
  • 1 T dry or fresh thyme
  • 2 garlic cloves, smashed

How to Bake

  • Thaw biscuits overnight in the fridge and brine chicken thighs in brine mixture for up to 2 days
  • Place each thawed biscuit , one biscuit at a time, into a waffle maker and cook according to waffle maker instructions
  • While waffle is baking, preheat your frying oil to 375 degrees F
  • Prep your dredge with all ingredients
  • Dredge and fry thighs until golden brown and registering 165 degrees F
  • Top biscuit waffles with fried chicken
  • Drizzle with honey
  • Enjoy!
