We take apart each ingredient in our recipe to focus in on the target flavor. Does the blueberry taste ripe enough? Does the milk have enough sweetness? We ask specific questions to target the right ingredient sources, and whenever possible, we source locally to guarantee freshness and traceability.
With every tweak, we bake and taste sometimes hundreds of times. We try everything on our customers, and lucky for us, there's never a shortage of volunteers! We’re always finding ways to improve. Even our buttermilk biscuit recipe is on version 7.0! Thanks to your feedback, our work is never done.
Technique is as important as ingredients and it all starts with human touch. Our fresh ingredients are scaled by real people. Sometimes berries don’t crush right or butter is too thick, our expert bakers perfect it. We run on equipment that’s as gentle on the dough as our hands and watch closely as each little biscuit makes it down the line.
