Ingredients
- 2 boxes of Mason Dixie Biscuits, thawed
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
- 1 C. grated mozzarella cheese
- Salt, parmesan, and red pepper flakes to taste
How to Bake
- Thaw biscuits overnight in the fridge
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine garlic, butter and oil in a microwaveable bowl and heat on high until butter is melted, about 20-30 seconds in microwave. Stir in chopped parsley and thyme
- Cut each biscuit in half. You should end up with 24 half biscuits
- Roll each half into a ball shape, approximately the size of a golf ball and place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree. Leave about ½-inch of space between each biscuit ball
- Brush the herb mixture onto the dough using a pastry brush. Stuff shredded mozzarella cheese in the spaces between the biscuits. Sprinkle salt, parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes to taste
- Bake 14-16 minutes until golden brown
- Serve with warmed marinara sauce and enjoy!
