Ingredients
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 yellow onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 15oz. can kidney beans
- 1 15 oz. can black beans
- 1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1 C water
Chili Seasoning
- 1 T chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ¼ tsp cayenne powder
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- ½ T brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
How to Make
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuits according to the package.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic to large pot with olive oil over medium heat.
- Add ground turkey and continue to saute until turkey is fully browned.
- Add drained beans, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, water and seasonings. Stir until well combined and cover.
- Allow to simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Top with cheese and serve with Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuits!
